She was predeceased by : her parents, Edmund Boyd and Rosa Berry Quick; and her siblings, Edward Quick, Ruth Lamonds, Alice Quick and Beatrice Bowman.

She is survived by : her sister Minnie Thompson (George). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Homes- Rockingham (705 S Caroline St, Rockingham, NC 28379). A graveside service was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mt Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church (145 Yates St, Rockingham, NC 28379).
