He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Furr and Edna Mae Furr; his sisters, Beverly and Carol; and his son Michael.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his son John David; his daughter-in-law Carrie; his granddaughters, Annalise and Ella; and his siblings, Lenier (Denise) and Linda (Dane).
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Beverly Hills Baptist Church (110 Kemberly St, Rockingham, NC 28379). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Beverly Hills Family Life Center (110 Kemberly St, Rockingham, NC 28379).
