She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hundley and Jean Carter Hundley; her husband Kenny Simmons; her grandparents, Francis Carter and Maude Carter; and her pet Frank.
She is survived by: her children, Luke Simmons (Brandy Simmons) and Jessica Simmons Dehart (Craig Dehart); her grandchildren, Gavin Dehart, Emma Dehart, Aubrey Simmons and Carter Simmons; her siblings, Pam Hundley Collins (Randall Collins), Phyllis Hundley Gilbert (Ernest Gilbert), Joyce Hundley Steele (Billy Steele), Duane Hundley (Brenda Hundley) and Scott Hundley; and her siblings-in-law, Dean Simmons and Phyllis Simmons. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Lynn has requested that memorial contributions may be made to Mayodan Methodist Church, PO Box 219, Mayodan, NC 27027 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
