He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Everette Joyner and Mary Elizabeth Sumner; and his brother Freddy Joyner. He is survived by: his wife Mary Bazemore Joyner; his children, Kimberly Weaver (Barry), Christie Penzol (Sal) and Richard Joyner (Leanne); and his grandchildren, Kaili, Hannah Weaver, Ethan Zeller (Rachel), Charlie Jo, Sophia, Wayland and Zoey Joyner.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Watson-King Funeral Home's Rockingham Chapel (306 E Franklin St, Rockingham, NC 28379).
