It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Duane Kilby (Rockingham, North Carolina), who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmas Jennings Kilby and Selma Clyde Edwards Kilby; his former wives, Janet Lee Douglas Kilby and Dora Mae Dowel Kilby; his son Benjamin Charles Kilby; and his siblings, Daniel Delmar Kilby, Harold Dean Kilby and Kathleen Kilby Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Parrish Kilby; his daughter Jane Kilby; and his siblings, Barbara Anders, Iva Jean Boylan and Vonley Kilby. He is also survived by his eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
