She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. J. W. Strickland and Marie Murdock Strickland; and her brother Jimmy Strickland. She is survived by: her sister Margaret Joyce Nichols; and her nieces and nephews, Denise Willard, Crystal Wheeler, Jimmy Strickland, Jr., William Singletary, Jan Owens and Deidre Norris.
