She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Arlie Shepheard and Frances Sophie Chappell Shepheard; her son Ralph A. Shepheard, Jr.; and her sisters, Alma Banks and Ruth Sullivan.
She is survived by: her children, Jesus, Judy Stedman (Kenny), Chuck Talley, Lisa Talley (Don Meany) and Danny Talley; her husband Charles Talley; and her sisters, Faye Lynthacum, Carol Smith, Mildred Brady and Kathleen Lewis.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Temple Baptist Church (165 Airport Rd, Rockingham, NC 28379). A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
