With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Jenkins Howell of Rockingham, North Carolina, who passed away on September 26, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Jenkins and Nettie Jenkins; her husband James "Granny" Howell; and her son Randy Howell. She is survived by: her children, Gay Thurston (Bryan) of Maynardville, TN, Tim Howell of Rockingham, Connie Howell Kelly (Steve) of Rockingham and Mark Howell (Heather) of Rockingham; her grandchildren, Maranda Robinson, Kevin Howell (Crystal), Regann Howell, Jennifer Beltz (Jacob), Katie Long (Derek), Brooke Kelly, Kylie Jo Howell, Evie Rae Howell and Darrin Thurston; and her great grandchildren, Natalie Robinson, Mason Robinson, Landon Beltz, Logan Beltz, Leighton Beltz, Sawyer Long and Tatum Long. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
