He was predeceased by: his parents, Revie Osborne and Ida Elizabeth Shelton Fulp; and his siblings, C. L., Bobby, Billy and Lucille Mabe.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Locklear Fulp; his children, Jason Fulp (BK), Carey Fulp, Joe Porter Sugg (Bucky), Mary Tyler (Jeff), Bob Sugg (Dawn) and Wayne Sugg (Tina); and his sister Elva Mabe. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Richmond County Hospice, 1119 N US Hwy 1, Rockingham, NC 28379.
