She is survived by: her parent Kathleen Dean Griggs; her husband Roger Simmons; her son David Beggs (Genia); her grandchildren, Nick Beggs and Nicole Beggs; and her siblings, Sue Nelson (Carlton) and Donald Griggs (Diane).
