Ruth W. Rogerson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth W. Rogerson (Robersonville, North Carolina), who passed away on December 19, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Blount Whitaker and Ida Swain Whitaker (Joseph W. Martin) of Virginia; her former husband Joseph Warren Martin of Martin County; her son Eddie Martin; and her siblings, Earl, Dennis, Archie, Tebo, Odis, Curtis, Horace and Frances.

She is survived by: her husband David Rhodes Rogerson; her stepchildren, Vann and Martha; her children, Earnest Martin (Donna), Alice M. Warren (Gerald) and Tim Martin (Dianne); her daughter-in-law Terry M. Martin; her grandchildren, Shelly Joyner (Jay), Tonya Peele, Stephanie Yoder (Ron), Scott Martin (Jill) and Wade Martin; her great grandchildren, Arrington Morgan (Kyle), Gannon Joyner, Peyton Joyner and Anna Camille Martin; her great great grandchild Beckett Morgan; her children, Joanna Rogerson (Jon), Bradley Rogerson and John David Lilley; and her grandchild Judge Guida.
