She is survived by: her niece Marquette Battle; her nephew Brandon Battle; her godchildren, Alexis Cherry, Kaiden Cherry of Raleigh and Kenyon Allen of Hamilton; her aunts and uncles, Marnell Farmer, Varnell Wilson, Johnnie G. Battle, Lillie B. Warel, Betty Ray Jones, Shirley Wilson, James H. Battle (Gloria) and Lyman Carmon; and her sister Bronell Battle. She is also survived by children, and a host of other relatives and friends.
