He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Whitehurst and Edna Troth. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Whitehurst; his daughter Rochell Radcliffe (KC); his grandson Elijah Radcliffe; and his siblings, Earl Whitehurst (Lina), Paul Whitehurst (Laura), Jimmy Whitehurst (Esther) and Frances Joyner (Bandit).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Gold Point Church of Christ, where he was a member.
