It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Winslow Williams (Robersonville, North Carolina), who passed away on February 8, 2020, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Brown and Joseph Robert Winslow; her brothers, Joseph R. Winslow, Jr. and Henry Winslow; and her daughters-in-law, Nancy Peacock Goins and Helen Everett Goins.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Cleve Wilhoit of Bloomington, IN; her children, Winslow Goins of Rocky Mount, NC, Robert Goins (Peggy) of Kinston, NC, Carol Dolan of Gloucester Pt, Joe Goins (Catherine Everett) of New Bern, NC and Ruth Toth (Bob) of Ocracoke, NC; her stepdaughter Norma Williams McMurry (Don) of Fayetteville, GA.; her grandchildren, Hannah Boston (Mark), Peter Wilhoit (Kathy DeStefano), Traci Goins (Kim Fox), Clay Goins (Susan), Hollie Kernan, Everett Goins (Tammy), Jake Dolan (Amanda), Nathan Dolan (Candace), Elizabeth Perkins (Sean), Winslow Goins (Sarah), Jesse Goins, Zachary Goins, Eason Goins (Sarah) and Charlotte Goins; and her great grandchildren, Isabel, Mara Boston, Ethan, Sophia Wilhoit, Chase Goins, Julia Anne Kernan, James, Rebecca, Emily Goins, Maya Dolan, Nate Dolan, Caelan, Kia Perkins, Betsy Goins and Eason Goins. She is also survived by three step-grandchildren, ten step-great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
