She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Ermon Smith and Allena Robertson Smith; her husband William Archie Johnson; her sons, James Kevin Johnson and William Craig Johnson; and her sisters, Allena Johnson, Imogene Ross, Corrine Langley and Marquerite Johnson.

She is survived by: her son Glyn J. James (Doug) of Robersonville.
