She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Bowman and Nora Rose; her husband Charles Donald Greene; and her great grandchild Adriana Duncan. She is survived by: her children, Jim Greene (Patricia) of Bryson City, NC, Gloria "Gogi" Griffith (Tom) of Seagoville, TX, Patty Hutto (Michael) of Rock Hill, SC, Van Greene (Deb) of Robbinsville, NC and Marilyn Greene of Robbinsville, NC; and her grandchildren, Tracy Couch, Jennifer Greene, Chris Greene Cayce (Jennifer), Cody Gee, Rachel Duncan, Heather Webster (Mark) and Amber Greene. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Townson-Smith Chapel (160 5 Point Rd, Robbinsville, NC 28771). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
