He was predeceased by: his parents, Bright Johnson and Ruth Ray Johnson; and his great grandchild Mabel Rain Batts. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Marten Johnson; his daughters, Andrea Batts and Monica Johnson; and his brothers, Tom Johnson and Bright Johnson, Jr.. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Townson-Smith Chapel (160 5 Point Rd, Robbinsville, NC 28771). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
