It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olen Long of Robbinsville, North Carolina, born in Graham, North Carolina, who passed away on December 14, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Luther and Lille Mae Campbell Long; and his siblings, George, Frank, Johnny, Carl, Lincoln, Jay Long, Lenore Kolac and Maudie Sue Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis "Jean" Carpenter Long; his daughters, Jeannie Long Bentley of Cleveland, TN and Lisa Long Henry of Franklin, NC; his grandchildren, Julie Ann Bentley of Cleveland, TN, Kaitlyn Henry and Samuel Alan Henry of Franklin, NC; and his sisters, Glayds Thein of South Port, NC and Mable Pridemore of Point. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
