She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Ransom and Florence Mae Phillips of Bryson City. She is survived by: her siblings, Ralph Phillips, Floyd Phillips, Carroll Phillips, William Paul Phillips, Pearl Melton, Pauline Willis and Frank Phillips; her husband Buddy J. Grindstaff; her children, Karen Brendle, Cheryl Brendle Saylor, Clark Brendle, Jennifer Brendle and Gerald Brendle (Kimberly); and her grandchildren, Jonathon Brendle, Wesley Brendle, Michael Brendle, Matthew Brendle, Madison Brendle, Rachel Waldroup and Madelyn Rowland. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
She was a faithful servant of the Lord and never wavered in her Christian Foundation.
