She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburn Mashburn and Louella Franks Mashburn; her husband Leroy Smith; her sons, Roy Smith, Buddy Smith and Nolan Smith; her siblings, Jesse Mashburn, Thomas Mashburn, Mae Green, Mary Alice Lee, Jo Ann Burnette, Desi Magdelene Mashburn and Pearl Azalee Mashburn; and her grandson Ike Satterfield.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nettie (Ike Satterfield), Janet Williams, Tammie Mashburn, Connie (Billy Moore) and Mavis (Michael Delozier); and her sisters, Roxie Burnette of Canton, NC and Maxine Hill of Waynesville, NC. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
