He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sluder and Helen Hall Sluder; and his brother William Sluder (Bill). He is survived by: his sisters, Joann Sluder of Knoxville, TN and Eva Nell Sluder Cable of Andrews, NC; his close friend Juanita Hardigree; and also Katharine Durant. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
