It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Rogers of Robbinsville, North Carolina, born in Graham, North Carolina, who passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Arthur Rogers and Mary Holloway Rogers; his granddaughter Tonya Lewis Curtis; and his great grandchild Kyle Garver. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Waldroup Rogers; and his children, Mitch Rogers, James Lewis (Porky) of Robbinsville, Steve Rogers of Franklin, Lamar Lewis of Pumpkin Center, N. C. and Robin Rogers of Robbinsville.
Due to the risk of exposure to COVID, face coverings and social distancing are requested.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made in John's memory to Shriners Hospital for Children, care of the Robbinsville Shrine Club, PO Box 2404, Robbinsville, NC 28771.
