It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Alvin McRae (Robbinsville, North Carolina), who passed away on January 15, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Huel McRae; and his daughter Baby McRae. He is survived by: his parent Leoah Icenhower McRae; his wife Marcella George McRae; his daughters, Carrie (John Stewart) and Sarah (Brent Howard); and his brothers, Norman McRae (Linda) of Knoxville, TN and Jeff McRae (Claudia) of Murphy, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to one of the above charities.
