She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Johnson and Celia Owens Johnson; her husband James Bridges; her son James David; her grandson Jody; her son-in-law Larry; and her sister Betty Sue.
She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Garrett of Blairsville, GA, Ingrid Bernal of Robbinsville and Betsy Blankenship (Lynn) of Apison, TN.; and her siblings, Selma, Annette and David. She is also survived by five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Townson-Smith Chapel (160 5 Point Rd, Robbinsville, NC 28771). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
