He was predeceased by: his parents, Garfield Lewis and Lola Lovin Lewis; and his siblings, Delmas Lewis, Doyle Lewis, Alvin "Hardwood" Lewis and Marie Lewis.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Lewis (Susie) of Gastonia, NC, Susie Walsh (Dale) of Robbinsville, NC and Marg Lewis of Robbinsville, NC; his grandchildren, Issac Lewis of Raleigh, NC, Kenan Walsh of Rock Hill, SC and Casey McClure (Justin) of Mount Holly, NC; his great grandchildren, Blakelee McClure and Cash McClure; and his close friends, Eddie Richard, Dede Brooms, Jan and Ann Pangle. He is also survived by grandchildren.
Due to the risk of exposure to COVID 19, facial coverings and social distancing are required for those attending the services.
