He was predeceased by: his parents, Loy Cable and Azalea Daniels Cable; his brothers, Steve, Gene Cable and Ed Hughes; his brother-in-law Wayne Cable; and his grandson T. J. Carver.
He is survived by: his son James Randall Cable (Annette) of Robbinsville; his grandchildren, Joshua Cable, Kandra Dockery Cable, Autum Carver of Robbinsville and Kia Lail of Whittier; his great grandchildren, Madison, Blake, Tanner, Lexi, Riley, Brantley, Kova, Jayson, Carter and Bo; and his siblings, Ted, Larry, Lonnie Cable, Sharron Edwards and Roma Nell Cable. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Townson-Smith Chapel (160 5 Point Rd, Robbinsville, NC 28771). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM.
