He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cable and Nellie Swift Cable; his siblings, Kenneth Cable, Junior Cable, Cecil Cable, Verlin Cable, Maudie Bowers and Nina Williams; and his great grandchild Cooper McClung.
He is survived by: his wife Joette Cable; his daughters, Darlene Croucher (Barrie) of Robbinsville, NC and Teresa Mastej (Todd) of Robbinsville, NC; his grandsons, Colton McClung (Emily) of Bryson City, NC and Alex Mastej of Shelbyville, IN; and his great grandchild Hazel McClung.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Townson-Smith Chapel (160 5 Point Rd, Robbinsville, NC 28771). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
