He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cable and Maudie Beasley Cable; his siblings, Charles Cable, Ben Cable, Mary Fisher and Novella Cable; and his half-brothers, Herman, Lloyd and Coleman.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Orr Cable; his daughter Misty Cable of Robbinsville, NC; his grandsons, Hanley Cable and Harmon Cable; his niece Irene Huffman; and his nephews, Johnny Cable and Carrol Fisher.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Townson-Smith Chapel (160 5 Point Rd, Robbinsville, NC 28771). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
