He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Buchanan and Vinnie Wiggins Buchanan; and his son-in-law David Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Holloway Buchanan; his daughters, Debbie Buchanan of Robbinsville, NC and Shelia Moody of Waleska, GA; his grandchildren, Daphne Duncan (Wendell), Laura Adams (Jesse), Jordan Moody, Elizabeth Adams, Hope Moody and Eva Joy Moody; and his great grandchildren, Cansas, Savannah, Max, Jackson, Eva Claire, Harden and Sadie.
