It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Moody of Robbinsville, North Carolina, born in Graham, North Carolina, who passed away on November 13, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Milburn Hooper and Emma Hyde Hooper; her husband Wade Moody; and her siblings, Vincent Hooper, Lillian Sharpe, Ethel Smith, Ola Pressley and Ruth Smith.

She is survived by: her daughters, Wanda Collins (Tommy) of Robbinsville, NC and Jan Stewart (Steve) of Robbinsville, NC; her grandchildren, Randy Collins (Analisa) of Robbinsville, NC and Emmy Stewart Messer (Jerry) of Waynesville, NC; her great grandchildren, Carden Collins Millsaps (Ethan) of Hiddenite, NC, Boone Messer of Waynesville, NC and Mia Messer of Waynesville, NC; her sister Allene Montgomery of Robbinsville, NC.; and her grandson Reverend Randy Collins.
