With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ed McCollum of Robbinsville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 10, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy McCollum and Lettus McCollum (Griffin); his sister Ann McCollum Dent; and his daughter Jessica. He is survived by: his wife Patty Ditmore McCollum; his sister Betty McCollum Salter (Jesup); his children, Angel McCollum, Jeff McCollum and Steve Hyde (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Jeremy (Jessica), Cory (Angelina), Tyler, Logan (Riley), Cody, George (Hannah), Dakota, Marla and Riley; and his great grandchildren, Vada, Kiley, Brody, Isla, Annabelle, Oliver and Braxton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Oasis Shrine Club in Robbinsville, NC.
