She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Moody and Lillian Ruth Jarnigan Moody; her siblings, Wayne Moody, Fain Moody and Elsie Hillard; and her husband Ralph Shope.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lester Moody, Dean Moody, Sam Moody, Pauline Hodge and Louise Chandler. She is also survived by 13 nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Townson-Smith Chapel (160 5 Point Rd, Robbinsville, NC 28771). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
