He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe "Bill" and Delza Owetta Matheson Mosteller; his daughter Kristin Lyna Daniels; and his grandparents, Arthur J. and Annie Mae Matheson.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Tate Mosteller; his son DJ Mosteller of Charlotte, NC; his brother Billy; his sister-in-law Sabrina Mosteller of Waynesville, NC; his nephew Barry David Mosteller of Franklin, NC; his niece Christina M. Beher of Maui, HI; his grandchildren, Summer McCoy, Bruce Tipton and Braxton Hicks; his great grandchildren, Olivia and Vivian McCoy; and his mother-in-law Brenda Dowdle of Robbinsville, NC. He is also survived by his sisters in law and his many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the animal rescue program of your choice in memory of David.
