She is survived by: her husband David Carpenter; her children, Dwayne (Petra Carpenter) and Amy (Randy Rogers) of Robbinsville, NC; her sister Wanda; her brother-in-law Avery Carpenter of Robbinsville, NC; her brother Hubert; her grandchildren, Tyler Broome, Layne Carpenter, Morlee Carpenter, Payton, Mallie Rogers, Macy and Matthew Garland; and her great grandchild Osie Rogers. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
