She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Millsaps and Lillie Holloway Millsaps; her husband Bill Slaughter; her granddaughter Heather Hill; her daughter-in-law Sharon Slaughter; and her brothers, Joe Millsaps and Bobby Millsaps.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Whitlock (Scott) of Athens, TN, Geraldine Willis of Robbinsville, NC, Misty Buchanan (Trint) of Robbinsville, NC and Jackie Slaughter of Elizabeth City, NC; her siblings, Ann Blevins, Nancy Blevins, Paulette Garren, Stella Millsaps, Steve Millsaps of Robbinsville, NC and Johnny Millsaps of Hiawassee, GA.; her grandchildren, Jessica Thomas (Michael), Dayleigh Millsaps (Aaron), Zander Buchanan, Kazeleigh Buchanan, Kash Buchanan and Addeline Buchanan; and her great grandchildren, Ally, Haiden, Landen, Elijah, Coy, Bryton, Jaxon, Tylie, Drake, Dalton, Draylon and Hardyn.
Due to the risk of exposure to COVID 19, facial coverings and social distancing are required for those attending the services.
