He is survived by: his wife Irene Corbin Prather; his children, Kary Warner Prather (Matilda) of Mississippi, Tony Delane Prather (Shana) of Mississippi, Scarlett Leigh Carson (Christopher) of Robbinsville, NC, Siera Tawni Prather (Alex) of Andrews, NC and James Joseph Carver III (Jade) of Robbinsville, NC; his grandchildren, Vivian Celest Lane, Aaron Prather, Logan Carson, Violet Ann Carson, Logan J. Carver, Quinten Reed Carver (Mylee) and Jensen C. Lovin (Austin); his great grandchildren, Legend Carson, Christian Carson, Greyson Carson, Damien Greg Prather and Campbell Reed Carver; and his siblings, Kenneth Prather of Brookhaven, MS, David Prather of Brookhaven, MS, Hugh Prather of Brookhaven, MS and Lenora Marilyn Welch of Brookhaven, MS..
