She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Waldroup and Netter Stewart Waldroup; and her husband Dave Pitcox. She is survived by: her children, Debra Robinson and Chris Pitcox of Robbinsville, NC; her sisters, Cora Clark of Hayesville, NC and Nellie Cunningham of Annapolis, MD; her stepchildren, Lee, David, John, Toni and Sharon; and her grandchildren, Chelsea Clark, Jacob Pitcox, Chase, Maddison Robinson, Rhonda Garrett and Erin Hyde. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
