He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Greene and Annie McCallum Greene; his son-in-law Kinney Lee Hussey; and his siblings, Jonah Greene, Guy Greene, Archie "Mac" Greene, Ida Steele, Lena Williams and Hazel Moore.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Hunsucker Greene; his children, Ricky Greene (Carolyn) of Robbins, Gary Greene (Jill) of Aberdeen, Pam Hussey (Arnold) of Robbins, Barbara Hussey of Bennett and Melody Roberts (Brian) of Apex; and his siblings, Roy Greene of High Point and Elizabeth Brewer of Louisiana. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, 1535 North Moore Road, Robbins, NC 27325.
