She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Brown and Nettie Kennedy Brown; her husband James A. Bruce, Sr.; and her siblings, Roy Brown, Douglas Brown, Essie Horne, Harold Brown and Lacey Brown.
She is survived by: her son James A. "Jimmy" Bruce Jr.; her grandsons, Jay Bruce (Kim) and Jonathan Bruce; and her great grandchildren, Katie Bruce and Maggie Bruce. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
