He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Roy Hurley and Dorothy Blalock Hurley; his sister Norma Hurley; and his close friend Bauldy Cagle. He is survived by: his wife Sonya James Hurley; his daughters, Crystal Williams (Chris) and Dina Hiatt (Tony); his sister Marsha Coble (Terry); and his grandchildren, Zachary Byrd, Gracie Byrd, Dakota Byrd, Hunter Williams, CJ Williams, Abbie Hiatt, Catharin Bowen and Austin Bowen.
