He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Brown and Rachel Guill Brown; his son Richard "Charlie" Brown; his grandsons, Andrew J. Allred and Cameron J. Smith; and his siblings, Ann Hussey, Judy Davidson, Donnie Brown and Danny Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hinesley Brown; and his daughters, Donna "Pebbles" Smith (Todd) of Robbins, Wendy Lowe (Brad) of Troy, Carol Jean Wood and Belinda "Runt" Britt (Ronnie) of Spies.
