She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Roy and Lottie Smith; and her brothers, Edsel, Cecil and Odell Smith.
She is survived by: her siblings, Milton Roy Smith Jr. (M. R.), Jerry Smith and Elma Smith; her children, Dock Smith (Suzan Horton) of Greensboro, Doug Smith (Melissa) of Lillington, Daniel Smith (Cheryl) of Robbins and Sandra Garner (Perry) of Charleston, SC; and her grandchildren, Emily, Jessica, Ashley, Miranda, Molly, Samuel and Benjamin.
