It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Martin Morrison of Robbins, North Carolina, who passed away on November 22, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James "JP" Philip and Ada Mae Morrison (Williams); his former wife Sharon Mae Morrison; his siblings, Weldon Morrison and Ioka Morrison Echard; and his daughter-in-law Iline Morrison.
He is survived by: his wife Christa Baker Morrison; his children, Doug Morrison, Debbie Morrison Conway, Perry Morrison (Tammra), Joseph (Scott), Melody Morrison Landers (Kevin) and Todd Morrison (Shelby); his siblings, Linda Daggett (Hollie), Helen Irvine (Richard), Arma Swain (Dean) and Marshall Morrison; and his sister-in-law Lynn Morrison. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
