She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Garner and Lessie Williams Garner; her siblings, Carthell Garner and Hilda Boles; and her granddaughter Christa.

She is survived by: her children, Jollene Frye, Roma Sowards and Ethan Gilliland; and her sister Jane Maness.
