With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kate Glenn Shields of Robbins, North Carolina, who passed away on February 7, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Herman Glenn, Sr. and Cassie Allred Glenn; her husband Frank Shields; her children, Amy Moore and Ritchie Shields; and her brothers, Otis Glenn Jr. (BigO) and Hal Ray Glenn (Tootie).
She is survived by: her daughter Frankie Shields Mabe of Seagrove; her sisters, Ann Pruitt of Greensboro and Ellen Cheek of Georgia; her aunt Betty Craig of Robbins; her grandchildren, Brandon Bibey (Tara), Matthew Bibey (Tina), Kori Bales (Chris), Melissa Clendenin (Caleb) and April Grant (Chris); her great grandchildren, Kolbi, Aurea, Hope, Max, Branson, Calissa, Nick, Ashlee, Nate, Stormy, Jeffrey, Tamiana and Gage; and her great great grandchildren, Madalyn, Bridger, Brenner and Coy. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
