She is survived by: her father Carlton Kennedy; her sister Patty Kennedy Chalflinch (Tony); her children, Amanda Lester (Brandon) and Aaron Allred (Victoria); and her grandchildren, Brayden, Alyssa Lester, Hadlee and Bridgette Allred.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jean's memory to the North Carolina Children's hospital in Chapel Hill, NC.
