He was predeceased by: his parents, Jonah E. Garner and Laura Brown Garner; his siblings, Geneva Lemonds, Mary Dunlap, Louise Cole, Faye Stephenson, Ann Early and Joe Garner; and his daughter-in-law Angel Garner.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Moore Garner; his children, Paula Lineberry (Carl), Patsy Chriscoe (Mike), Keith Garner, Mark Garner and Nathan Garner; and his sister-in-law Loretta Garner. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.
