He is survived by: his wife Lois Brewer Milks; his son Michael Vernon Milks; his brother Gordon Joseph Milks; his close friend Jessie Brown; his children, Greg Milks (Teresa) of Asheboro and Patricia Whitley (Michael) of Asheboro; his grandchildren, Wayne Bartlett, Jr., Jacob Whitney, Stephen Whitley, Heavin Milks, Lil G'Milks and Matt Milks; his great grandchildren, Michael, Wayne, Katie, Brayden, Tyler, Logan, Carter, Cooper and Emma; his great great grandchild Piper; his daughter-in-law Deborah Leigh Milks; his sister Mary Milks Brewer; and his sisters-in-law, Donna Aycock (Fletcher) and Becky Milks. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
