It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Upchurch of Robbins, North Carolina, born in Highfalls, North Carolina, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, W. N. "Jack" Upchurch and Evelyn Smith Upchurch; his brother Jerry Upchurch; his siblings-in-law, Brenda Upchurch, Omie Lou Upchurch and Billy Joe Brady; his niece Jennifer Sessoms Owens; and his nephew Shane Upchurch.
He is survived by: his wife Neva Williams Upchurch; his children, Steven F. Upchurch (Freida) of Robbins and Kristy U. Needham (David) of Carthage; his grandchildren, Richard Spivey (Nick), Amber U. Lemonds (Justin), Kandace N. Hobgood (Nathan), Kayla Needham and Klaire Needham; his great grandchildren, Charlie and Baylor Lemonds; and his siblings, Darrell Upchurch, Jackie Upchurch, Tommy Upchurch (Doris), Dolores Brady, Patricia Cole (Larry) and Connie Sessoms (Robert).
