He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Horner and Willa Jones Horner. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Horner; his son Russell W. Horner of Robbins; his sister Kay Horner Pickler (Rodney) of Robbins; and his grandchildren, Brynna Jedrey and Kaia Horner.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church (1535 N Moore Rd, Robbins, NC 27325).
